Dr. Aman received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the North Carolina State University in 2007. She went on to complete a rotating internship at Colorado State University VTH and a surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, Texas. Her surgical residency was completed at the Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Aman’s professional memberships include the VVMA, AVMA, ACVS, Society of Veterinary Soft Tissue Surgery, the Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology, AO North America, and the Humane Society. She also does volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity.
Professional interests include oncologic surgery, minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery, and surgery of the knee, including torn ACLs and kneecap luxation. She also has a strong interest in regenerative medicine, including stem cell therapy and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy.
When she is not working at VRCC, Dr. Aman enjoys hiking, running, water sports, reading, snow skiing, concerts, and just generally being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
