For Pet Owners
At VRCC, we are dedicated to client service as well as patient care. We know that our clients do not often visit us under the happiest of circumstances and do our best to provide comfort and support when it is needed.
Here we have compiled some helpful resources for pet owners including pet loss support, animal control contact information, and what to expect from your visit with us. If you have further questions that are not answered here or would like to see something added, feel free to give us a call or fill out our contact form.
Arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to complete the proper registration information so you can go to your consult on time - or - fill out the form online for your convenience.
Remember to bring any x-rays that may have been taken by your primary veterinarian.
Unless otherwise instructed, do not feed your pet after midnight. You may give your pet water.
Your consultation is usually 30-45 minutes and your pet may be required to stay for the day if procedures are required.
The doctor will give you a discharge time which is usually between 4:00pm-6:00pm and will meet with you to discuss at-home care.
